Legion Color Guard.
Title
Legion Color Guard.
Description
The American Legion color guard is seen after having crossed the State Street Bridge from Rockford's east side to W. State Street in this well-attended parade. The Rockford newspaper News Tower building, constructed in 1930 at 99 E. State, can be seen just to the right of center in this photograph and is actually across the Rock River on the city's east side. Notice the sign for the State Theater, 105 W. State, far left.
