Description
A photograph of Queen Jumbo, a circus elephant, proceeding west past the 300 block of East State Street. Note the three businesses along the route: W. E. Dolk, photographer, at 304 E. State Street; Frank G. Smith, harnessmaker, at 306 E. State Street; and the Druggist Union Company at 308 E. State Street. The Interurban rails are clearly visible in the foreground. Queen Jumbo performed with the Ringling Brothers' Circus from 1896 to 1918.
