Variation of Dutch Colonial Architecture
Title
Variation of Dutch Colonial Architecture
Description
The Harold F. and Hazel Shannon residence at 1411 Brownwood Drive, built in 1925. The architectural style is Tudor. Prominent features include the cross gables on the front of the house, the elaborate chimney in the center and the arched doorway at the left. The wall surface appears to be stucco. Harold M. and Frances Greenberg lived at 1415 Brownwood Drive at the right, built in 1926. This house may have been designed by architect Jesse Barloga and is a variation of the Dutch Colonial architectural style. A prominent feature is the gambrel roof.
