Description

Black and white photograph of Elco employees, William Starnes (middle) and Darwin Miller (right), examining a machine that Starnes suggested a modification for. (Electrical Discharge Machining) The same article explains that Starnes' suggestion reduced Elco's risk of creating an oversized hole and, in turn, cut set-up time by 90%.
