This color photograph depicts the Gothic style of this expansive building. A cross sits atop a three-arched entranceway and two other crosses adorn twin apices at opposite ends of the church. Note the 1950s automobiles and the churchgoers' attire. On the back: "Completed in 1952 at a cost of $600,000. Located at School Street and North Johnston Ave., Rockford, Illinois." "1950's" is penciled on the back of the postcard.
