In 1902, professional musicians in Rockford formed the Rockford Musical Association, an affiliate of the American Federation of Musicians. It is unclear which Rockford venue was used as the setting for this scene. A similar view is depicted in photo 88.122.819. (Reference - Sinnissippi Saga, page 245.)
