Spanish-American War Parade
Title
Spanish-American War Parade
Description
A large group of uniformed men appear to be waiting for the parade to continue heading east across the State Street bridge. Behind them, a man holds a sign that reads, "Come to the Beloit Picnic 1899." Note the A. E. Henry Jewelry business at 104 W. State Street in the background. The Rockford Railway rails are clearly visible. The Spanish-American War lasted from April 1898 to August 1898.
