The information included with this black and white photograph states, "Two of the last four machines shipped from W.F. & John Barnes plant on S. Water St. Shipped to Watervliet Arsenal near Philadelphia PA [actually located on the west bank of the Hudson River in Watervliet NY]. These machines were computer controlled with hydrostatic spindle bearings and ways to grind the breech lock end of gun barrels up to 155 mm in diameter." In the bottom left margin of the photo is handwritten "996-K / T-2483."
