Description
A large group of people, men women, and children, pose before the Emerson-Brantingham Company, listed in the 1914 city directory as being "manufacturers of agricultural implements" located at "the south end of Independence Ave." in Rockford IL. This explains why the company played host to farmers' associations such as various granges. This photograph is contained in a folder labeled, "Visit to Implement Works, Emerson-Brantingham Company, Rockford, Illinois. Oak Grove Grange of Winnebago County, January 14th, 1915."
