Description
An account of the resource
The residence of Christian F. Henry, owner of C.F. Henry's Clothing Company (1902-1917) in Rockford, Illinois. The home, located at 112 Glen Road, was designed by architect Lawrence Buck, commissioned and built by C. F. Henry in about 1906. Lawrence Buck was a Chicago architect, a colleague and competitor of Frank Lloyd Wright. Buck is associated with the Prairie School and American Arts and Crafts Movement in architecture.
