Mary Dorr Manny's Home
Mary Dorr Manny purchased this home on South Main Street from the Holland family in 1860. The home sat on the north side of Kent Creek surrounded by extensive gardens. The home neighbored Robert Tinker's cottage (built in 1865 on the south side of Kent Creek). Mary Manny's home was sold to the Illinois Central Railroad and was torn down in 1900.
