Description
An account of the resource
Scott family reunion on the family farm located at Montague Road near the Rockford city limits. Sylvester Scott arrived in Winnebago County about 1850. He lived and worked in Rockford, moving to the farm on Montague Road with his second wife Nancy and his children by 1902. Sylvester's son Henry W. married Cora in 1884, and they raised their children Effie Pearl, Mabel and Robert on the family farm. By 1912 the address was 1128 Montague Road. After Henry's death in 1925, Cora remained at the home until 1926.
