The Holdridge Farm in Winnebago County. William Holdridge moved his family to this farm in 1905. It covered an area from Clifford Avenue south to River Park Road; it went west from North Second Street. The Holdridges sold the farm to Fred Burr in 1915; Burr subdivided the farm as part of the early development on Loves Park Illinois. The farm once included land that is part of Martin Park.
