The Red Cross.
The group depicted, marching behind what appears to be a Red Cross banner, is made up of women in uniform. It's uncertain if they are nurses or nuns. This portion of the parade is on E. State Street, passing Rockford Printing (214-216 E. State), Davis Candy Co. (218 E. State), and the East Side Inn Cafe (222 E. State) in the East Side Inn building, which is located at 104 N.
