The skeleton of the Greater Rockford airplane is secured on a flat bed truck in the parking lot of Colonial Village Mall, Rockford, IL, at Alpine and Newburg Roads, waiting to be put on display in the mall. One of the shopping center's entrances is visible at right. "Rockford To Stockholm" can still be seen in faded letters on the side of the plane.
